OMG, I just got the Wild Card Cartridge and Sports Mania Cartridge from some friends!!! Included with them were the rewards certificates which put me over the top for being able to get the Accents cartridge! I can't wait to start creating and having some fun! Back to today's layout - this layout again is a fairly old one but I LOVE the colors. It's so bold and the photo is to die for. I love the simplicity of this layout and the rubon is from Lil' Davis. My challenge for you this week is to use a Large rubbon as a title. Make it a centerpiece (doesn't have to be center, just an eye catcher). Have fun! Side note - shout out to Kori for taking this photo of my daughter for me. I LOVE and CHERISH it!

These are some of my favorite photos of all time. Each one has it's own take on my son Camron's personality when he was 6 months old. They make me laugh and cry all in one EVERY single time I look at them. I love this quote, "If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred and one day so I won't ever have to live without you." -Winnie the Pooh. Your challenge this week is to take a favorite quote and use it! Even if you already have before, use it on another page for a different album. Thanks for looking and remember to leave feedback, I live for it you know!Friday, July 3, 2009
Can i have a pony?

My daughter and her pony. My husband found this pony at a garage sale and couldn't resist the cliche. She LOVED this pony and this weekend it bit the dust (these photos are a few years old, LOL). I love this layout simply for the title. I love the multi products used to make up the title. Adds its own little charm. I used stickers, scrabble letters, rubbons, and 3d lettering. My challenge for you this week is to create a layout using multi products to create a title. Be sure to post a comment before you leave, I love to hear feedback!!!

Blog Award

Thank you ladies for giving me this award!!! It's my first one and I'm so happy to have it!! I pass it on to my friends at the Paper Garden Blog - http://www.thepapergardenonline.blogspot.com/ Tara, you are the best! I have a few others that I wanted to pass it on to but each of them already have this award, LOL! Again, Thanks guys!
Here are a few cards that I made a few weeks ago with the Story book cartridge. Funny story, I've had my cricut since christmas and I've been using it non stop since about march (had to warm up to it). My husband thought it was just a $400 paper weight. He walked up while it was cutting and I thought he was going to start patrinizing my new toy. Instead, he waited until I peeled the left over paper off reveling these 4 cuts and he was stunned!!! He started oooohing and awwwwing over the detail and how it cuts more than just a basic square. I started showing him all my other projects that I had cut with it and he was so cute!!! Now, I can't seem to part with my cards because every time I look at them they make me laugh. Do you have any funny stories?

Don't know why I love this layout so much. Maybe it's how the photos show such innocence, or maybe because the colors are so vibrant. No, I think the reason I love this layout is because I used things that were over a year old. I dragged out my stash and forced myself to use these disney stickers that I've had since the beginning and this MICKEY title that someone sent me in a rak about 1 year ago. It makes me feel good to see my supplies well used. My challenge for you this week is to use something that you've had for a while. Whether it be a month old or a year old. Use it! Don't buy something new, don't MAKE a new title, use what you have!Wednesday, May 27, 2009

A few new layouts

Here are a few layouts that I've done lately that I'm very proud of. I love this title for Seth's Layout, 6.5 Billion people in the world, and there's no one like you! It's so true! The next layout is of my nephew Logan. I took a pic of my brother in law throwing him up in the air and when I got it on my computer, I edited my bil out of the photo. It looked like Logan was flying!!! Since he's a huge Marvel fan, I thought it would only be appropriate to do
a super logan layout! And last but not least, I found this layout in a magazine and immediatly knew which photo I was doing. The look of her eyes and face just makes me melt. I love everything about this layout. Especially the simplicity of it! Thanks for looking!

Awe, a girl and her pony! I have found a new technique and wanted to share it with you...... mix and match titles! I love the way they look when you take 2-4 different products and create a title. Adding deminsion, texture, color, etc your possibilities are ENDLESS!!! My challenge for you is to try your hand at multi product titles. If you are just starting, try only using 2 different kinds, and work your way up to 4.
