On a Wednesday Afternoon....

I absolutely love The Outlawz site. You can find them here. Everyday there's a new challenge, from cards, to sketches, to colors to use, to simplicity, and on and on. This was the Wednesday Sketch Challenge for this week.

As you can see it's intended for a card but I decided to use it on a layout instead. I used the kit from Walmart and the Storybook Cartridge on this layout. Thanks for looking :)

Another fantastic thing about being a scrapper is never having to buy premade cards again. They're so impersonal, and sometimes expesive for the nice ones. I haven't met on person yet who didn't enjoy receiving a handmade card from me. They seem to keep ahold of them longer as well. Here are some cute sketchs by yours truely to try your hand at. Remember to show me your work!

Sketches Galore!

If you're like me, you enjoy a road map before you even begin to plan your trip. I'm the same way when it comes to sbing. I like to find a sketch that I love before I start the process of creating the page. It comes from anywhere, a magazine, a website, a challenge given in a date at Cafemom. But I've found that making my own can be fun as well. Here are a few that I made a few weeks ago and might help get the creative juices flowing.
