I saw a LO like this online a few weeks ago and couldn't wait to try it! This was so much fun to make. All cuts were made from the "Freshly Picked" cartridge. The Gnome was cut at 4.5 ", I stitched his shirt with a black pen and decided to add the same to the belt, shoes, and hat. The flowers are cut at 3.5" and the mushrooms are 3" tall. The font is from "Opposites Attract" cartridge and was cut at 1.5". I can't wait to add photos of my daughter to it with her cousin. Thanks for looking.

I can Write!

I saw this idea in a magazine for leftover alpha stickers. Take ANY diecut and FILL it with letters. Genius! Their version had a lot of different colors but I wanted something simple so I took red epoxy stickers and placed them on the red cardstock. I love the way it turned out. It was a quick easy way to add dimension to something that looked a little bland. I used Plantin Schoolbook for the apple, scallops, and fonts. I can't wait to add pics :)

A layout that was a little difficult to do.... Recipe called for 10 circles, a few buttons, one rub on and 2 photos. I usually like to cover my pages with lots of detail but I like the way this one turned out. So simple.

My son has some of the most priceless expressions of concern and thought. I'm glad I was able to capture that here when he wasn't looking at me. Your challenge this week is to take pics of your kids without them looking at you. Don't even tell them you're taking pics, just walk up and get a few before they notice. You'll be pretty surprised at what you can catch!

Coordinating Page Kits = 3 layouts and 5 cards

One of the things I love to do is make my own page kits. Each of my kits include....

3-4 sheets of coordinating patterened paper
3-4 sheets of coordinating solid cardstock
1-2 alphabets
A handful of embellishments such as chipboard, bling, titles, journaling blocks, etc
2-3 yards of different ribbons

Once I have my page kit together, I'll just slip it all into a 2 gallon size baggy and throw it in my travel bag for the next crop. Here are some creations I made yesterday in 4 hours by using one of my kits I put together. Let me tell you, there was only one journaling strip and 2 yards of ribbon left when I got done, I used every single sheet and embellishment.

I also made some cards with the leftovers.

My first DIGITAL Layout!!!

It's it awesome!!! LOL, just kidding, I'm still learning. I think I love it. My challenge for you this week is to try something digital. You don't have to go all out like I did but maybe add a digitized title, journaling, or embelli! Get creative.
